The Florida Surety Agents Association (FSAA)...

How to become a licensed bail agent (Limited Surety Agent).

The FSAA has been working for bail agents in Florida for over 36 years. We are recognized as the industry leader – represented by working bail agents – advocating for all bail agents.

Since 1972, the FSAA has supported bail agents in Florida by …

  • defeating serious threats to eliminate bail in Florida
  • pushing to improve professional standards of bail agents through licensing and educational requirements
  • working with policy makers to advocate continued high standards for all bail agents

The FSAA contracts full-time lobbyists to protect the well being of each and every licensed bail agent in the state. Our lobbyists also push for new legislation and changes to improve your business. A full-time office staff is available to help answer your questions, coordinate continuing education and pre-licensing classes, and support Board & Membership efforts.

The saying "there is strength in numbers" is so true and so very important. The FSAA is an action-oriented not-for profit organization dedicated to keeping a safe and prosperous work environment for every bail agent in the state. We work toward that goal through unity, education, peer support and legislative action. If you are not a member, we need you to join us in our work. The benefits and rewards are many. Join FSAA now!
